TSB Technical WorkshopCanadian Technical Security Conference (CTSC)

Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., and the Technical Security Branch (TSB) are sponsoring a TSCM Technical Workshop on the 3rd and final day of the conference.

The CTSC 2010 Technical Workshop includes a professional skills development component that is specifically designed for TSCM practitioners that are tasked with the development and / or implementation of various aspects of a formal defensive technical security program.

 

Technical Workshop (Part I)

TOPIC: Surveillance Device Intelligence (SDI) Briefing 

SPEAKER: Paul D Turner, TSS TSI

DESCRIPTION: Part I of this years Technical Workshop will include a Surveillance Device Intelligence (SDI) briefing and technical review a variety of difficult to detect offensive Technical Surveillance Devices (TSD). This session will focus on the characterization of various technologies and operational methods that minimize detection.

 

Technical Workshop (Part II)

TOPIC: Wireless Video Cameras and Transmitters 

SPEAKER: Paul D Turner, TSS TSI

DESCRIPTION: Part II of this years Technical Workshop will examine the developing technological trend involving a significant increase in the discovery of low cost wireless video cameras and transmitters being utilized for illegal audio and video surveillance applications involving criminal ventures at an alarming rate. This session will also include a discussion relating to ill considered wireless installations involving both personal and business security applications.
