Kestrel TSCM TM Professional - Equipment Training Operator Certificate (ETOC)

We are pleased to announce that Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., will conduct a full day Kestrel TSCM TM Professional Software - Equipment Training Operator Certificate (ETOC) workshop immediately following CANSEC 2011 in Ottawa on Friday June 03, 2011.

This session will cover all of the essential need to know features and functions of the Kestrel TSCM TM Professional Software and the Kestrel TSCM TM Workstation (KTW).

Our confirmed April 2011 workshop scheduled in Kingston Ontario has only limited space available and the June 2011 session following CANSEC is beginning to book. It is strongly recommended that you register for either of this workshops prior to the end of January 2011 to guarantee participation.

Our next workshop is tentatively scheduled for September 2011 with the location to be announced early in the new year.

We also run the Kestrel TSCM TM Professional Software - Equipment Training Operator Certificate (ETOC) during the Technical Security Specialist (TSS) TM Designate Certification program. The next scheduled program dates are tentatively set for mid January and early February 2011.

Announcing the Kestrel TSCM TM Workstation (KTW)

We are extremely pleased to announce that our Kestrel TSCM TM Professional Software - Signal Intelligence Support System (SISS) product development group have formalized an agreement for the first of its kind, custom deployable, mobile TSCM workstation.

The Kestrel TSCM TM Signal Intelligence Support System (SISS) utilizes a rugged professional level mobile workstation architecture to provide uncompromising quality and advanced TSCM functionality.

The KTW is an extremely powerful PC based computing system that offers tremendous performance and reliability that is essential for demanding task specific Digital Signal Processing (DSP) requirements and offers uncompromising advanced connectivity.

Our Kestrel TSCM TM Workstation (KTW) is the first in its class to be equipped with a primary high resolution display and to enhance the Human Operator Interface (HOI) experience, there is also a secondary high resolution monitor.

This unique display configuration allows the operator to display the Kestrel TSCM TM Professional Graphical User Interface (GUI), Spectral and Waterfall display window on the primary monitor and view additional windows such as the Automatic Threat List (ATL), Demodulation Control Panel (DCP), or other features such as our dual receiver hand-off capability on the secondary high resolution monitor.

PDTG Inc., is the Canadian Dealer for Signal Hound TM Receiver

Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., is pleased to announce an important strategic partnership for the exclusive distribution of the Signal Hound TM Receiver for Canada. This is an important announcement as PDTG Inc., has recently developed and released the extremely popular Kestrel TSCM TM Software for exclusive use with the Signal Hound TM Receiver. Our next generation 12 GHz dual receiver (with pre-amp and hand-off capability) version of the SAMR hardware and Kestrel TSCM TM Software system is currently in the final stages of development (software patents pending) and is expected to be available early in 2011. Currently, our (DC to 4.4 GHz) version is available for use with the current version (1.09 Professional) Kestrel TSCM TM Software.

TSB Acquires (X-BAND) Transmitter / Receiver

Canadian Technical Security Conference (CTSC 2011)

I would like to thank all of the exhibitors, participants, presenters, and sponsors of CTSC 2010, it was an excellent conference. We are pleased to announce that CTSC 2010 was a tremendous success and work is progressing on selecting a venue for CTSC 2011. We are currently exploring Ottawa as our next venue for the only dedicated Technical Security conference in Canada. The dates and venue are expected to be announced by the end of May 2010. Signal Intelligence Support System (SISS) - Tactical Intelligence

Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., is pleased to announce the new “Signal Intelligence Support System” to be introduced for the 1st time in North America at the Canadian Technical Security Conference (CTSC) April 19, 20, 21, 2010 in Cornwall Ontario Canada.

Model: SISS-4400A

The Signal Intelligence Support System (SISS) - Model: SISS-4400A, is a low cost, sophisticated USB 2.0 Software Defined Radio (SDR), Spectrum Analyzer and Measuring Receiver with a wide range of software features. The SISS-4400A is built around a rugged highly portable self contained deployment kit complete with a laptop computer and a receiver frequency range of 1 Hz to 4.4 GHz.
The system contains a full frequency range built-in antenna array for both horizontal and vertical polarization combined with a high gain (20 dB - Nominal), Low Noise Amplifier (LNA). TSCM specific functions include the ability to manually or automatically control the sweep and signal environment, utilizing user parameter based programming for automatic signal search scanning, logging, harmonic (HARM) identification and threat listing. The full deployment kit can be operated on standard AC power, external 12-Volt DC, or the onboard rechargeable battery pack and can be setup in minutes.

TSB FACT: The TSB proprietary software for the Signal Intelligence Support System (SISS) is a custom TSCM specific software application. Product introduction is scheduled for April 2010 with production units are expected to be released in May 2010.

Technical Security Branch (TSB) Equipment Acquisition

Professional Development TSCM Group Inc., is pleased to announce that we have added several Tektronix Spectrum Analyzers to our training and operational equipment inventory. We have recently commissioned a Tektronix 496P (1 kHz to 1.8 GHz) and a Tektronix 494P (10 kHz to 21 GHz) to our training inventory. We have also added a 494P (10 kHz to 325 GHz) instrument extending our operational capability to 325 GHz covering the entire electro-magnetic spectrum. Participants attending our Technical Security Specialist (TSS) Designate Certification program, receive training on Anritsu, HP / Agilent, AVCOM, V-Tech, AudioTel, TTi, Research Electronics International (REI), WiNRADiO, ICOM, AOR, Winkelmann, FLIR, and Tektronix instrumentation.

TSB FACT: Our Technical Security Specialist (TSS) Designate Certification Program and Annual Certification Review (ACR) is the baseline standard for developing the essential TSCM skills necessary to carry out professional level Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) assignments involving known and developing threat levels.

Technical Security Specialist (TSS) Designate Certification Program

Preliminary dates for our next (14 Day) resident based Technical Security Specialist (TSS) Designate Certification Program will be Sunday May 02, 2010 to Sunday May 16, 2010 at our Resident Training Centre (RTC) in Cornwall Ontario. Space is limited but still available. Please contact the Technical Security Branch (TSB) for additional information. This program includes meals, accommodation, training and our "NEW" electronic course materials, all preloaded and configured on a powerful interactive Netbook computer.

TSB FACT: Our Technical Security Specialist (TSS) Program is based on the TSB 2000 Standard and involves our Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced training elements).

Canadian Technical Security Conference (CTSC)

The 5th annual Canadian Technical Security Conference (CTSC) is scheduled to run Monday April 19, 2010, Tuesday April 20, 2010, and Wednesday April 21, 2010 at the NAV Canada Conference Centre in Cornwall Ontario.
