We are pleased to announce the release
of the ThinkRF R5750 SDR Hardware
support, providing (100 kHz to 8 GHz),
(100 kHz to 18 GHz), and (100 kHz to 27
GHz) frequency options.
The new hardware support provides
significantly improved spectrum leveling
and offers search speeds across the 27
GHz ROI at 9 GHz per second @10 kHz RBW
and 12 GHz per second @ 20 kHz per
second.
The ThinkRF R5750 now features hardware
based GPS capability and is packaged in
a new rugged housing with a locking
power connector.
The Kestrel Support Profile (KSP)
TM is currently available in the
latest beta drop file release v1.40-34
and is under going lab testing.
It is expected to be officially released
within the next full installer version

Another day another software update
announcement. Kestrel brings more
capability, more features, more
functionality and more industry
innovation in keeping with the day to
day emerging threat technology
within a modern moving target threat
model.
We are very pleased to announce the
release of v1.40-34DEV as the latest
beta drop file that adds our RF
Visualizer (RFV) TM
geo-location heat mapping capability to
the existing Location Differential
Signal Analysis (LDSA) TM
feature. This is yet another example of
our demonstrated commitment to building
a strong national security mandate.
It is now possible to use the
geo-location heat mapping capability
against any frequency, or channelized
spectra within the LDSA TM
deployment model when the Tap Capture
Plot (TCP) TM | OPT TCP is
licensed on the target machine.
This beta release also provides initial
support for the new ThinkRF R5750
Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer with yet a
further hardware announcement coming
early in the new year.
 The
TCP TM feature is a major
achievement and milestone in bringing a
new methodology in tactical
countermeasures to the technical
operator.
Another key feature added to v1.40-34DEV
includes a powerful new Signal
Calculator Resource (SCR) TM
allowing the technical operator to

We are very pleased to announce the
release of v1.40-1 (official release
full installer) that adds full support
for the Signal Hound SM200B Spectrum
Monitoring Receiver and for the on-board
GPS capability.
This release also provides initial Beta
support for the new ThinkRF R5750
Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer with a
further hardware announcement coming
early in the new year.
Changes
to the GPS handling mechanism is also
included in this release to address both
generic USB 2.0 and hardware based GPS
capability for Signal Hound and ThinkRF
SDR radios, along with a number of under
the hood efficiencies, bug fixes and
work-flow adjustments.

We are pleased to announce that we will
be running a special version of the
Certified Technical Operator (CTO)
program leading up to the Canadian
Technical Security Conference (CTSC
2020) event.
We have added a lot of very powerful new
functionality and features this year and
will be extending the training an extra
2 days for the March program in order to
integrate all of the new features
recently released, about to be released,
and those to be released between now and
March 2020.
This is your opportunity to get serious
training on a serious TSCM product.

We are very pleased to announce the
release of v1.40-14 (drop file) that
adds a new Waterfall (WFD) DATE + TIME,
TIME ONLY, and FREQUENCY reference under
full operator control.
The Beta file download has been
relocated to same download location as
the full installer.
This
beta drop file can only be used with the
latest v1.39-3 full installer on the
target machine. We have also added a new
feature to HIDE the SIDEBAR MENU
structure to provide even more
analytical workspace on smaller
displays.
Additional refinements to the Advanced Report
Generator (ARG), includes full USB 2.0 support for
Mini-Circuits RF Switch hardware and
adds new IQ Playback capability,
including time reference sub-sampling
with the ability to save the sub-sample
as a new file.
The ability to loop the time reference
sub-sample in real-time demodulation is
also supported.
The OCTOBER 2019 Advanced Signals
Intelligence Database (ASID) Frequency
Database (FDB) files for the United
States of America and Industry Canada
have been fully updated to the current
release and reorganized by Province and
Territory for Canada and by State for

The DSEI 2019 show in the United Kingdom
(UK) was a tremendous success this past
week.
Our technical security instructors
had three (3) separate government and
commercial training programs for new and
existing technical operators across Europe in
support of the many entities that
utilize the software for commercial and
national security requirements.
Professional Development TSCM Group
Inc., demonstrated significant new and
exciting spectrum display and analytical
features during the exhibition this past
week.
Within a modern moving target threat
model, it is essential that the
technical operator have the ability to
capture and process IQ data across the
software and import IQ from other
sources for analytical playback. This is
no longer a nice to have option, it is
an essential resource for professional
level inspections.
Kestrel is leading the industry with
powerful operator centric features and
analytical display functionality that
simply cannot be accomplished on tiny
display screens given the complexity of
the ambient RF spectrum environment.
Convenience is not convenient when
examining the the RF spectrum
environment.
We are very pleased to announce the
release of v1.39-3 (installer) adding
significant new functionality and
additional features that significantly
enhance the POD and the analytical
accuracy needed for high-level
inspections.
This latest full installer release of the
software includes full command and
control support for
Mini-Circuits RF Switch hardware (DC to
18 GHz).
New analytical IQ Playback capability,
includes Time Reference Sampling (TRS) with the ability to save the
new sample
as a focused smaller foot print SOI file.
We have also added the ability to
quickly capture IQ samples when running
in the Intermediate-Frequency Broadband
(IFB) mode. We have added a buffer
status visualization within the IFB SDR
status display area.
This new capability also allows for the quick
capture of IQ samples of the current
real-time (IFB) Range of Interest (ROI)
for playback in (KIQ | CSV | or | WAV
file format.
The ability to loop time reference
samples in real-time and demodulation
suitable sample bandwidths is
also supported allowing for optimal
operator assisted signal level analytics.
It is now possible to play back captured
XML | IQ files from the Signal Hound SPIKE
software within the Kestrel TSCM
® Professional Software,
providing both the XML and IQ file
elements are co-located in the same
directory.
It is now possible to HIDE | SHOW the
sidebar menu structure to permit a full
width spectrum and waterfall display,
providing even more display area for
operator analytics.
It is amazing what a
difference the additional space makes on
smaller graphic displays, especially for
operators using extremely small spectrum
displays such as those found on tablet
computers.
Today's analytical work environment
demands larger laptop widescreen
displays. You cannot analyze what you
cannot see.
We have added a Delta-T control and a
new triggering
control capability on the (I vs Q)
display within the demodulation
visualizer control group and we have improved
the triggering algorithm within the
Oscilloscope and (I vs Q) displays.
The demodulation visualizer window can
now be resized and selected full screen
making it even easier to analyze complex
signal events. We have also added the
ability to minimize the visualizer
window to sustain the current
demodulation settings.

release v1.39-1 (Beta) drop file for use
with the v1.38-15 (Installer).
This Beta release adds the functional
release of the NTSC video demodulation
feature.
The video demodulation feature has
single button activation, by tuning the
signal of Interest (SOI) and pressing
the Video Eye.
The viewer can be resized from the
default window size below to near full
screen for amazing clarity.
Our AUTO POLARITY (SYNC PULSE) feature
combined with an operator invoked (force
negative or positive sync) provides a
measure of advanced operator control,
and our powerful algorithm means less
time tuning and quicker acquisition lock
of hostile NTSC video signals.
Video can be viewed live as an OTA
signal or played back from either CSV or
KIQ IQ files for a powerful analytical
platform.
